Terms of Service

1. What RosterRadar is

RosterRadar is an independent application that retrieves your own published duty roster from your airline's AIMS-based crew portal and presents it to you, together with rest calculations, reminders, station information and optional sharing with crew colleagues and family.

It is built and operated by an independent individual developer based in the United Arab Emirates — referred to in these terms as “we” or “us”. There is no company behind it. Support is provided by one person, in the gaps between flights, on a best-effort basis.

RosterRadar is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by any airline, nor by AIMS or the vendor of any other crew-management system. Airline names appear in the app solely so that you can identify your own employer.

RosterRadar is a convenience tool. It is not an official source of your roster. Your airline's own systems and published documents remain authoritative. Always verify report times, duty details and operational information against your airline's official source before acting on them.

2. Eligibility and your account

• RosterRadar is intended for professional airline crew and you must be at least 18 years old to use it.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account, and keep it up to date.
• You may not share your account with, or transfer it to, another person.

3. Connecting your crew account

To fetch your roster, RosterRadar signs in to your airline's AIMS crew portal using credentials you supply. By connecting your crew account you confirm that:

• The credentials are your own, and you are authorised to use them.
• You are responsible for complying with your own airline's IT, security, acceptable-use and data-handling policies when connecting a third-party application to your crew account. Those policies vary between airlines, and it is your responsibility — not ours — to check whether your employer permits it.
• You will only retrieve your own roster, not anyone else's.

The connection is read-only: RosterRadar does not bid, swap, accept, drop, or write anything back to your crew account. You may disconnect at any time from within the app, which deletes the stored credential.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use RosterRadar for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any airline, regulatory or employment obligation that applies to you.
• Access, or attempt to access, another person's roster, account or data without their consent.
• Use crew contact details or roster information obtained through the app to harass, spam, or contact colleagues for purposes unrelated to your work, or to send unwanted repeat connection requests or notifications.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app, our servers or another user's data.
• Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the service or the infrastructure it runs on.
• Resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute the service or its content.
• Post content in crew chat that is harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, sexually explicit or otherwise objectionable, or impersonate another person.

You remain responsible for any information you choose to share with crew connections or family members through the app.

Crew chat — zero tolerance. Crew chat has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must accept our community rules before posting for the first time. Messages are automatically filtered, and any message can be reported or its sender blocked from within the app. We review reports and act on them — hiding messages, muting or banning users — within 24 hours, and we may remove any content and suspend or permanently ban anyone who breaches these rules. A ban is tied to your airline crew identity, so it remains in effect even if a new account is created.

5. Premium subscription

RosterRadar is free to download and use. An optional RosterRadar Premium subscription unlocks Pay Report (your airline’s own computed pay, by month).

• Plans. Premium is an auto-renewable subscription offered in four durations: monthly, 3 months, 6 months, and annual.
• Price. The price of each plan is shown on the purchase screen in the app and in your App Store account, charged in your local currency; any applicable taxes are added per the App Store.
• Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Cancellation. Manage or cancel any time in your device’s Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current paid period runs to its end and is not pro-rated.
• Billing & refunds. All payments are processed by Apple through your App Store account — RosterRadar never receives your card details. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store’s policies.

6. No warranty

RosterRadar is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

In particular, we do not warrant that:

• the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free;
• roster data will always be complete, current or accurate — it depends on your airline's system, which we do not control and which may change without notice;
• notifications or reminders will always be delivered, on time or at all. Push delivery depends on your device, its operating system, its power-saving settings and third-party networks. Do not rely on RosterRadar as your only means of waking for, or being reminded of, a duty.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of RosterRadar will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, earnings, employment, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

This includes, without limitation, any missed duty, late report, disciplinary action, loss of licence or loss of employment attributed to reliance on the app, on its roster data, or on its notifications.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer’s total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these terms or the service is limited to the total amount paid for your RosterRadar Premium subscription (through the App Store) in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using RosterRadar at any time. To have your account and data deleted, email support@r-r.ae from the address associated with your account.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if continuing to provide the service to you would expose us or other users to risk. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will tell you why.

Sections 6, 7 and 10 survive termination.

9. Changes to the service and these terms

We may add, change or remove features, and we may update these terms. When we update them we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Where changes are material we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use RosterRadar after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the United Arab Emirates shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of RosterRadar.
